When you take the drive up from Dumaguete City to Tierra Alta Residential Resort in Valencia, it’s almost certain that you’ll stop for a meal at Tierra Café. I personally recommend that you do.
Tierra Café is one of two in-house restaurants at the residential resort’s clubhouse. Its menu matches the Santorini-theme of the place, serving Mediterranean fare with a touch of Asian and American influence. Some things to try there are their freshly baked bread and house made ice cream.
During my visit, I ordered their best-seller, Crocodile Sisig, which may sound exotic but is actually pretty good. Together with this, I had a Chef Salad and a Tierra Café Special Pizza, too.
This delicious meal partnered with the amazing view makes for a really great experience. Apart from this, another compelling reason to come here is to unwind over wine and music in the evening. Tierra Café is certainly worth heading out of the city for.
